Making a conscious effort

At Murdock Industrial Inc., we have adopted a green conscious attitude. This means we recycle anything we can here at the shop and in production... along with other standards that follow the reduce, reuse, recycle philosophy. There are many ways that you can help the three Rs too!

Faxes can now be faxed to our online fax machine. This is a digital fax that doesn't print on paper unless we absolutely have to. Our digital fax number is 702-441-0320

Email us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible... which uses no paper too!

Use low inclusion rate quick disconnects which cause less contamination of the soil and saves on your hydraulic oil bill.

Use quality products that last longer... which is all we carry. Eaton Aeroquip hose not only handles more impulsing... which leads to a longer hose life... but also uses better ingredients which translates to a longer hose life too!

Recycle when you can... the metal ends of hose, the clamps and some of the covers are all recyclable.

We also re-use boxes to ship our products to you... which translates to keeping costs down and further reducing our paper and cardboard consumption. If you do get packing peanuts in your box.... know that we are recycling...

Another picture....

In the past, M.F. Murdock has sold anything from condoms to fire trucks! I have found a picture of one of the fire trucks that M.F. Murdock provided to the Stow Fire Department, Stow, Ohio! ...year unknown but I estimate in the 1940s.

Murdock Industrial Inc. was started in July of 1999 from an asset purchase of The M.F. Murdock Company which was founded in 1904. The M.F. Murdock Company was a pioneer in industrial products for the local Akron, Canton, Cleveland area being the first in many areas of distribution. I would like to personally thank the men and women that worked hard and made a difference in the history of Akron... providing a great future for all of us. I ran across some old photos in some paperwork we were going through and have put them up to share some of the history with you, just click each picture for a larger size.
